When generating reports, all renters receive a rental application in an interactive, fillable form.

The number of rental applications is unlimited, just like report generation!

As soon as a rental application is submitted, it is immediately available to listing agents, landlords, and any agent renters have chosen to share with. An email notification lets agents and landlords know of its availability.

Once saved, it acts as a template that can be used repeatedly for future additional rental applications. Any information originally entered will auto-populate, saving time and effort. It can be edited as necessary before submission.

PLEASE NOTE: Printing and filling out a copy is not considered applying to rent

  • Printing and filling out a copy will not generate TransUnion® reports.

  • Printing and filling out a copy will not share reports with a landlord or their agent.

  • To apply for rent, all renters are asked to perform the following:

  1. Register and sign in to a SoftScreen® renter account

  2. Generate and share TransUnion® reports with the landlord and/or their agent. Generating reports will automatically generate an electronic rental application alongside the reports.

  3. Complete and submit the rental application electronically while signed into the SoftScreen® renter account.

  4. Upload any property-specific documentation that may be required by the landlord.
