Can Two or More People Share the Same Account?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Consumer Reports provide information on individuals. Every individual has their own Social Security or ITIN Number along with their own unique credit, criminal, and eviction history. To provide each applicant's unique information, as well as to protect privacy, all applicants must register using their own unique email address, create their own secure account, place their own requests, and authorize the release of their own information.

Who is required to provide their TransUnion® reports and rental application?

Typically, all adults 18 years or over who will be occupying the rental property will be asked to provide their screening reports and rental application. This also extends to any cosigners and guarantors. We suggest consulting with your representing agent, the landlord, or their agent to confirm.

Joint Applicants, Cosigners, and Guarantors

When two or more individuals are applying to rent, our Best In Class rental application does accommodate information regarding this arrangement. It also accommodates cosigners and guarantors when applicable. When completing your rental application, you will be able to declare your role as either applicant, joint applicant, cosigner, or guarantor. You are also able to name others who are associated with your application to rent.
